My Favorite Rides At Disney World

So I’ve decided to do a post on what my favorite rides at Walt Disney World are. There are 4 theme parks to choose from – Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. All 4 have some great rides and I’ve managed to narrow down what my favorites are.

Magic Kingdom

Space Mountain

Blast off on a rip-roaring rocket through the darkest reaches of outer space on this roller-coaster-type ride in the dark. 

The Barnstormer

Step underneath a grand circus marquee and make your way to an open-air barn where Goofy—known as The Great Goofini—has been known to perform his world-famous high-flying show. Once inside the red hanger, board one of Goofy’s very own stunt biplanes and hold on tight as you prepare to take to the skies above Fantasyland.

Splash Mountain

Float along a colorful bayou—past delightful singing critters—to a thrilling 5-story splashdown.

Big Thunder Mountain

Race through a haunted gold-mining town aboard a rollicking runaway mine train.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Fire lasers to defeat Zurg in this shooting-gallery game that puts you in the center of a thrilling space battle.

Country Bear Jamboree

Have a knee-slappin’ good time at this jolly country-and-western show starring a hilarious bunch of singing bears.

Haunted Mansion

Edge into a shadowy foyer and climb aboard a gloomy Doom Buggy for a supernatural journey through a labyrinth of haunted chambers. Glide past a casket-filled conservatory, a chilling séance room and a ghostly graveyard of singing specters as you attempt to find your way out.

Pirates Of The Caribbean

Set sail on a swashbuckling voyage to a long-forgotten time and place when pirates and privateers ruled the seas

 

Epcot

Gran Fiesta Tour 

Donald’s disappeared, and it’s up to José Carioca and Panchito to find him. Float along to live-action footage of the people and places of Mexico superimposed with animation inspired by the 1944 Disney film The Three Caballeros. And join Panchito, the Mexican charro rooster, and José Carioca, the Brazilian parrot, for hilarity and hijinks as they search for their wayward friend throughout this fun-filled ride for all ages. Will they find him in time for the big finale in Mexico City?

Mission Space

Experience authentic NASA-style training and an out-of-this-world space launch on this shuttle simulator.

Test Track

Design a virtual concept vehicle and then go for a high-octane spin at this attraction that’s thrilling and creative.

 

Hollywood Studios

Rock N Roller Coaster

Hop inside a gleaming, super-stretch limo and hold on tight as you take off at a whopping 60 miles per hour into the Los Angeles night on your way to the big show—hard-rockin’ grooves of Aerosmith echoing all around you. Careen up and down into the inky, nighttime city darkness. Rocket through the famous Hollywood sign and speed past illuminated landmarks. Maneuver through city traffic and swoop in and around 3 thrilling inversions—2 rollover loops and one corkscrew—as the wind races across your face.

Star Tours

Blast off on a thrilling tour of the Star Wars galaxy aboard a Starspeeder 1000. Toy Story Mania

Ride and blast moving targets at this midway-style, 4D shootin’ game starring your favorite Toy Story characters.

Tower Of Terror

Hurtle up and down aboard a haunted, elevator-themed ride. You’re about to enter… The Twilight Zone!

 

Animal Kingdom

Dinosaur

Travel back in time on a perilous race to rescue an Iguanadon before the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs strikes.

Expedition Everest

Careen through the Himalayan mountains on a speeding train while avoiding the clutches of the mythic Abominable Snowman.

Kilimanjaro Safaris

Glimpse real African animals in their natural habitats during an 18-minute expedition into the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. Traipse along a picturesque twisting path amid a lush garden gateway and make your way to the rendezvous point of Kilimanjaro Safaris expedition, the touring company for your adventure into the wilds. Featuring picturesque open plains, shady forest landscapes and rocky wetlands, the 110-acre Harambe Wildlife Reserve is a spectacular sanctuary dedicated to the protection of African animals.

Kali River Rapids

Set out on a rip-roaring, river raft ride through a lush jungle landscape ravaged by illegal logging.
